Ekhart Tolle - a new awakening

Father, my mind was workin on d loss of so many thousands a year. But m focused. Its ok, this period of uncertainty it will make me emphatise wit others. Thank u for my centredness. Previously I can forego my feelings n now I can start to forego my mind.

Last saturday, waiting at the counter queue n suddenly when reach my turn, change of cashier. Previously, I wld be agitated but that day, I was feelin ok, jus note d change. I was observin my response - m wondering why am I so calm. And then when sis in law said abt d change of cashier n was exasperated, I jus nodded.

Everything is possible now.

A new earth by Ekhart Tolle. I read this book a year ago when I borrowed it from PA. I have always know I will buy it but was waiting for sales cos since I hav read, m buyin for keep only. Got this in last warehouse for 15, albeit was not in tip top condition but its ok.

A new earth - awakening to ur life purpose
Soul - very apt title especially for my life now. This mornin tot of my friend who quit her job to find herself but in d end back to square 1. Father, let me learn from others.

A new earth
Humans would increasingly be drawn to and fascinated by flowers as their consciousness is developing. Flowers has no utilitarian value.
Seeing beauty in a flower could awaken humans, however briefly, to the beauty that is an essential part of their innermost being - it is a significant moment in the evolution of human consciousness.
Enlightenment is more than just an evolutionary progression.
It also implies a discontinuity in its development, a leap to an entirely different level of Being and, most importantly, a lessening of materiality.

Soul - thank u, Father for this msg. Jus when my ego is askin me to go back to materiality n here I didn't wan to. Ego said I was not rational, not smart not to earn more money before I quit. Should have waited another year. Thank u.
Also, I mus hav read this book before BSP cos my reluctant enlightenment was wit a little flower. I danced n laughed wit her. I connect to her.

A new earth
Can human beings lose the density of their conditioned mind structures and become like crystals or precious stones, so to speak, transparent to the light of consciousness?
Can they defy the gravitational pull of materialism and materiality and rise above identification wit form that keeps the ego in place and condemns them to imprisonment within their own personality?

Soul - Father, tq. U guided me so well to read a particular book at a particular time. I really need this msg now especially in this period. Let me remember that we need to be vigilant in followin our Passion.

A new earth
This book itself is a transformational device that has come out of the arising new consicousness. As u read, a shift takes place within u.
This book is about u. It will change ur state of consciousness or it will be meaningless.
It can only awaken those who are ready.
Awakening can be in many forms. For some, it may be through coming into contact wit a spiritual teacher.
If the awakening process has begun in u, the reading of this book will accelerate and intensify it.

Soul - Father, thank u. I wished for full transformation in the 3 months from 13 Dec to 12 Mar n now u r preparing me for Samyama. Thank U. I know reading this book wil shift me. It shift me somewhat that I took the isha meditation - IE program n it wil shift me more now. Did a quick chk on my previous journal on this book n noted almost all is abt diminishing d ego. Now I hav n I wan to transcend n transform myself to my New Being. Amen.

A new earth
An essential part of the awakening is the recognition of the unawakened u, the ego as it thinks, speaks and acts, as well as the recognition of the collectively conditioned mental processes that perpetuate the unawakened state.

This is important becos;
1. Unless u know the basic mechanics behind the working of the ego, u won't recognise it and it will trick u into identifying wit it again and again.

2. The act of recognition itself is one of the ways which awakening happens. When u recognise the unconsciousness in u, that which makes the recognition possible is the arising consciousness, is awakening.

You cannot fight against ego and win, just as u cannot fight against darkness. The light of consciousness is all that is necessary. You are the Light.
