This from the RA book I bought 15 years ago when I was first diagnosed with RA.

Recovery for RA

To learn to understand how to rebuild our immune system, to recognise our natural enemies and how to influence our own body cells.
Our immune system draws its energy from 3 sources; food, water and air.
We need energy-giving food.


RA diet
1. Alkaline water
2. Calcium
3. Potassium (Alfavena tablets)
4. Vitamin C
5. Potato juice every morning. Chew mustard seed
(unpeeled potato, wash and grate it and press the juice out with a spoon. (Restore acid and alkaline balance in body)
6. Green lipped mussels

To find Chien Pu Wan.


Anti Potassium
1. Coffee
2. Alcohol
3. Laxatives
4. Salt
5. Sugar
6. Stress.

Pro Potassium
1. Potatoes
2. Banana
3. Dates
4. Figs
5. Molasses
6. Cider vinegar
7. Apricots
8. Raisins.

To avoid
1. Meat
2. White flour
3. White sugar
4. Orange, lemon, grapefruit, tomato, vinegar (citrus fruit)
5. Mayonnaise
6. Rhubarb
7. Butter
8. Cream
9. Spices
10. Chocolate
11. Cheese
12. Eggs
13. Excess Alcohol
14. Bread
15. Any flour products - cakes, biscuits, buns, pasta
16. Fizzy drinks or cordial
17. Pickled food.


To reduce
1. Coffee
2. Tea
3. Salt. (Alternative use good sea salt)

To increase
1. Fresh vegetables - raw or cooked
2. Salad everyday
3. Fruits, nuts, honey, cottage cheese
4. Brown rice
5. Natural yoghurt

Aug 5
Soul
A tall order.
Food is my karma and this is touching on my food.
A few weeks ago when I was in drastic RA pain, I ate less food. Everything I looked at I see them as giving me inflammation.
Then when RA pain was removed with Homeopathy, I go on full speed eating up anything I can find.
Without Angamardhana I gained weight..and even got into constipation.
But not sure if due to medication.
