Ego - part 2

Jan 1
A new earth
Ego contains personal identification, not only wit possessions, but also wit opinions, external appearance, long-standing resentments, or concept of urself as better than or not as good as others, as success or failure.
In everyone, egos only differ on the surface. Deep down, they are all d same, live on identification and separation.
At one end of d scale of this unconscious egoic pattern lies d egoic compulsive habit of faultfinding and complaining about others. At the other, physical violence between individual and warfare between countries.
When I criticise or condemn another, it makes me feel bigger, superior.

Complaining is one of ego's favourite strategies for strengthening itself.
The ego loves to complain and feel resentfyl not only about other people, but also abt situations: ie this should not be happening.
