Its true, my family has never been this harmonious. While we are close, we can get irritated at each other.
For the past two weeks, the harmony in my family is great. Today top it, my brother and sis in law bought a cake to celebrate her daughter advance birthday. And they even paid for the meal. My brother has seldom paid for any meal. That's was an irritation point. Alas that one dissolved too.
Sadhguru Sannidi truly brought the family together. Amen.
A few more days to go and friends coming over to help me to change the Sannidi cloth.

Meditation is not a static thing. It is a balance. U will have to attain to it again and again. U will become more and more capable of attaining it, but it is not going to remain forever, like a possession in ur hands. It has to be claimed each moment - only then it is yours. U cannot rest, u cannot say, "I have meditated and I have realised that now there is no need for me to do anything more. I can rest."
Life does not believe in rest; it is a constant movement from perfection to more perfection.
Soul
Mmm, a good reminder not to rest on laurels.

The first type of religious people is simply immature. His religion is not religion but psychological. And when religion is psychology, it is just a dream, a wish for fulfillment, a desire. It has nothing to do with reality. This encompass 90 percent of the so-called religious people. They believe because they cannot live without belief; they believe because belief helps to feel secure. It is their dream, but it helps. In the dark night of life, in the deep struggle with existence, without such belief they will feel left alone.
The second type of religion for whom religion is not coming out of fear, but out of cleverness. They are very clever people who goes on inventing theories, who are very trained on logic. They create a religion that is just an abstraction: a beautiful piece of work, of intelligence, of intellectuality, of philosophising. But it never penetrate life, it never touches life anywhere, simply an abstract conceptualisation.
Beliefs cannot touch ur life, beliefs are devices. U hold a concept and it helps u to rationalise.
But remember .... unless religion is personal, but real, deep in ur roots, in ur guts - it is futile, is of no use.
The third type comes in - the real type. The first two types are the falsification of religion, pseudo dimensions. Cheap, very easy because they don't challenge u.
The third is difficult, arduous; it is very great challenge; it will create a turmoil in ur life - because the third, the real religion says God has to be addressed in a personal way. U have to provoke him and u have to allow him to provoke u and u have to come to terms with him. In fact, u have to struggle with him, u have to clash against him. U have to love him and u have to hate him; u have to be a friend and u have to be an enemy; u have to make ur experience of God a living experience.
