North Node in Cancer - cannot handle rejection

North node in cancer
Above all other feelings, Cancer North node absolutely cannot handle rejection. Although they are learning to be sensitive to others' feelings, they came to the planet being overly sensitive to any hint of rejection and they take everything personally. The key is to be more objective - less focused in self and more aware of how to respond to other people's immediate needs.

Soul
For me true especially in romantic rship and somewhat in personal. For me its the loss of validation rather than rejection.

When others become upset, they tend to the other person what to do to dispel the negative feelings. They inadvertently invalidate others's feelings (this is also the way they treat themselves) but it causes others to feel unacknowledged and unnurtured.
For example. To say to the child, "I'll kiss and make it better" is not as logical as saying "Next time, avoid putting urself in that situation and u won't get hurt.
Yet the first message of comfort is what others need and what they need for themselves. After acknowledging the pain, so the other person knows they care, they can then make practical suggestions that will be useful.

Suddenly tot my response to G this morning. I wasn't being comforting.
Mmm, a tot came of my response to Z when he said he can't even pay his phone bill. I was furious at him for putting himself in such a situation. Instead of comforting him, I told him don't put himself in such situation. I did loan him the money to repay the phone bill but it left a bad taste in me, it makes me see how financially insecure he can be.
For him, the felt that I judged him and he contionously brought him up. Guess he feels I see him down..which is true.
His current wife holds him in high regards..but not me..
