Being joyful expands your sensory body...receptive

Nov 8 eve
Body the greatest gadget by Sadhguru
As a human being u have different possibilities - a certain capability that u can do something beyond ur instinct of survival. That is most important. Yet, most human beings instead of looking beyond the needs for survival, have just raised their standard of survival. Survival at one time means getting a meal or two a day. Now, survival means u must have a Mercedes. We are raising the bar, but it is only still survival. This is an intelligent way of using the human mechanism which has come with a different possibility altogether.
This body can be just a mass of flesh, driven by simple instincts within u or it can be made into a tremendous instrument - an instrument which can bring the Divine into ur direct experience.

Soul
Amen. I am on the right track.

If u make yourself exuberant with joy, love or ecstasy for example, the sensory body becomes very large. If u make urself depressed and sad, even if somebody physically touches you, u may not even notice it, because ur sensory body has shrunk below the size of the physical body.
Suppose u expanded ur sensory body, u could experience everything as part of yourself. As u experience the five fingers of ur hand, u can experience anything u willing to include, as part of urself.
U can expand ur sensory body to everything, u can include the whole universe as part of urself. This is what we are referring to as yoga. Yoga means union. That means the individual and universe has become one.

If ur sensory body extends to the whole universe, even then the center of this sensory body will be ur spine - ur experiential dimension is rooted in ur spine.
How the energies in ur spine are functioning right now determines just about everything about ur life. This is why yoga attaches enormous importance to the human spine.

I came back this time for arashidharna. I m aware that when I sat in arashidharna, my mind becomes quiet and stillness sets in.
I want to practice Samyama on life.
