Learning to say no to the mind

Oct 27 eve
Father, a day of little tots. Just focus being in the present, and at times aware of my tots and breathe.

Got this from FB
Thich Nhat Hahn
When we are mindful, deeply in touch with the present moment, our understanding of what's going on deepens, and we begin to feel with acceptance, joy, peace and love.

Soul
Exactly how I feel.

Just now did evening Shoonya, I went in real deep, total knock out. Now I m doing my journal I sense the presence of energy bigger than me, quietness sets in.

Sadhguru
As u continue to say no to ur mind, the mind becomes more and more subdued, it becomes lesser and lesser. It loses its edge. The mind loses control over you, as u go on saying 'no'.
Whatever the mind says, u say no. That is the practice. When u become a total 'no, no' to ur mind, u will become a big 'yes' to life.

Soul
Been saying no to hurtful tots of past. It has subsided. On food, me saying no too. But I truly had no need to change my liking for desserts. I m not negotiating.
Actually same with the meat. I stop because I know meat is not good for me; I stop because I feel my digestive system also deserves a semi retirement like me at work too. I didn't ask for anything. The cholesterol was just an excuse for me to change my diet. After 6 months on seafood and now month 7 on vegetarian due to Samyama.
