Sadhguru - why we keep toes together during asanas

Oct 19

Woke up fresh before 6 am. Yesterday night spent half an hour with the shrine before sleep, this is now my daily habit.
Checking my toes if they are okay, they are not painful.
Debating a bit about whether to do my walk this morning.
After 5 minutes, I told myself will decide when the alarm rang.
Just lying down on the bed, feeling good.
In the end I woke up around 6.25 am.
Did a nice long Bhuta Shuddi.
This time just sat infront of Devi Gudi and Dhynalinga. I can feel their presence. Haven't been paying them much attention since Sadhguru sannidhi arrives.
Today just me and them.

Went to the park, immediately feeling comfortable with the trees. I truly feel them.
They energised me. First round of walk was good, no pain at all to my foot.
Second walk towards the end can feel my right foot hurting slightly and I knew it is time to stop.
At first, didn't want to go up the slope but in the end I did, just taking it slow and easy.
Sadhguru is right, if there is no pain the body, body is no issue.
For me, body now is an issue.
I have the fitness but my joints can't handle it.
Not sure what else I have to do to.

As I was walking not much tots, just savouring the trees.
Tot of me being alone and I savour it.
I am okay being alone. I have my shrine.
It may be my handicap, but its with me.

Sadhguru on asanas
You do not always know what atmosphere you are in. When the big toes touch, you do not take in what is around you, plus you become a complete circuit by yourself. You are anyway a full-fledged life, though most human beings experience themselves as half a life. If they do not have certain things, they will feel empty. One aspect of yoga is to set up your energies in such a way that if you sit here, you are complete by your own nature – you do not need anyone or anything to make you complete. If you interact, it is a contribution, and not a seeking to fulfill yourself.

This is a clear way of setting yourself up in such a way that you are not a vested interest – not out of morality or ethics but by your own nature, because you are complete within yourself. To establish this sense of completeness, it is important to keep the toes together. In certain asanas, either the big toes should be together or your muladhara should be supported. That way, you are constantly working towards making yourself into a complete process, so this sense of incompleteness, this sense of not being whole will go away.

Soul
My inner journey is for me to be complete within so hata yoga is the way.
So will put my commitment into hata yoga.

My Daily Card
The Ace of Clubs

The Ace of Clubs means a strong desire for knowledge of some kind or the birth of a new idea, plan, or way of communicating with the world around you. This could also mean a desire for some specific information, for an education, or to pursue some new plans you make.

The Ace of Clubs always means a new beginning of some sort. This could be a new job idea or just embarking on a new way of thinking and communicating with others. The exact nature of the beginning will depend on the position of the card and the circumstances in your life at the time, but in general, this is a good time to plan to start something new.
