Sadhguru - Mind is like a knife

The pain of ignorance.
Spirituality is like sexuality.
When a certain awareness arise in u, suddenly u know little games. When the big things of life become petty thing, now spirituality arrive.
When u r seeking fulfilment unconsciously, u go through many rounds; u will need lots of endurance.

Mind cannot be aware. It is the mind that keeps u unaware. It is only the activity of the mind that keeps u unaware.

The moment u got a sharp mind u become terribly identified with it. If u look at the advertising culture u know what's attractive in the culture. Eg. Fragrance - in the west body sells. In the east, fragrance is in the temple and house of prayer.

Mind can only function with discretion. Otherwise mind is useless. Mind can discriminate between what is good or bad. Mind is like a knife. So u better have a sharp knife. But sharp knife can only cut, cannot unite. Yoga means union. The more and more u use ur mind the more you cut.

People with blunt knife are living more joyfully than people with sharp knife. Simply because the intellectual don't know when to use it and when not to use it. They use it on everything because they are so identified with the sharpness of their knife. The more u use ur mind, the smaller and smaller pieces the world will become and suddenly there is no place to stand on because everything become such minute particle.

If u moving into awareness, u explode into the wonder of the existence. If u move into the mind, u move into the discretion of splitting the world into little pieces.
