Simplicity is to live without ideals. Ideals create complexity; ideals create division in u and hence complexity. The moment u r interested in becoming somebody else u become complex. To be contented with urself as u r is simplicity. The future brings complexity; when u r utterly in the present u r simple.

Soul
Exactly. I always tell others I am simple, more becos of I don't have much needs.

Simplicity means just to be urself, whosoever u r, in tremendous acceptance, with no goal, with no ideal.
It need guts to be simple. It need guts because u will be in constant rebellion with society.

I am not yet there.

It is the ideal which poisons u and makes u complex, divides u, make two persons in u - the one that u r and the one u would like to be. And when u r constantly trying, endeavoring to be something that u r not, ur energy is dissipated in that conflict, ur energy goes on leaking. And energy is delight. And to have energy is to be alive, to be fresh, to be young.

When u go into a crowd, u feel u tired, weary, exhausted, u need rest. You certainly lose something becos crowd consists of black holes. And the more unintelligent the crowd is, the more of a mob it is, the more u will feel exhausted.

Exactly. I also feel that way with CeO. But nowadays less so becos she is doing taichi.

That's when when u r alone, sitting silently, just alone - one becomes replenished, rejunevated. That's why meditation makes u younger, makes u livelier. You start sharing something with existence. Your energy is frozen no more, it starts flowing. You are in a kind of dance, as stars are. A song arises in u.

No wonder, I always sing towards the end of practice.

In crowd, u always lose. In meditation u always gain energy. In meditation, u become simple. The future and past is no more ur concern, u r just being herenow.
When u r utterly possessed by this moment, u will feel rejunevated because the split disappears. U r one in that moment, integrated; u r all together.

Simplicity is a state of effortlessness; it is humbleness - not the humbleness created against ego, arrogance nor the proud mind.
Humbleness is not the opposite of pride. Humbleness is simply absence of pride.
Humbleness is a presence, not a characteristic of personality, not a trait.
Others will feel it, but u will not be able to feel it urself.
Simplicity simply means living moment to moment spontaneously.
