Value based on whats makes us happy, rather than unhappy

Mar 28 Eve

Father, what a day! I am surprised that I covered so many areas. At least the review of P & L for APAC is covered. I think I can do the billing.

Spoke to E on the FM role. He agreed I should take her first as I really need a hand.

On M, so the story was true. Teacher did stop her application for ashram. M was fearful that she may be vindicated again. Father, thank U for the Freedom book. It made me realise Freedom is responsibility. I am not looking for revolution. I am looking only for solution.

Diamond Hearts - Bk 1
Value is something we attach to an object. We determine what we value, and our values change as we change, not as the objects change. Since value is something we attribute to objects, people or activities, it must be something arising in us.

We generally value things that gives us pleasure but sometimes we value things that don't give us pleasure too.

We made a choice to value that thing. What we want to do here is to learn to free ourselves from the objects of value, to find out what value is so we can put value on things according to what is best for us, not according to our unconscious conditioning.
