Nothing lasts...

May 27 eve 1
Such peaceful Shoonya. Been going in deep. Did Samyama. Wanted to do a quickie as it was late but I couldn't end it. So peaceful in meditation.

Be the Change
Meditation enables us to no longer be ruled by greed or selfishness but to develop a deeper level of contentment and happiness, independent of anything outside ourselves. As awareness grows of our own behaviour and ego-nature, so desire and seeking pleasure or the delusion of believing that something or someone can make us forever happy loses its validity.

Soul
Similar msg as The Dream.

Be The Change
There is a hidden irony to greed and the desire for things to be different, and that is the fact that nothing lasts, not even pleasure or our latest purchase; everything is constantly changing. We get what we want, but then it is gone. The reality of impermanence is that the world around us has already changed from just a moment ago.
Although there may be sadness with impermanence, there is also great joy, for there is tremendous freedom in the knowledge that this is the way it is:
This is the flow, the rhythm of life, in which all things are coming and going. Impermanence is a characteristic of every situation, every encounter, relationship, mood or idea, disappointment or elation. It is only our resistance to impermanence and the accompanying fear if what change may bring that tries to make everything appear solid and everlasting.
