Spiritual path is a spiral path, not a straight line

Aug 7
Woke up around 6 am before alarm and slept back cos today is off day. Woke up in a dream at 7.30 am on alarm. Did 5 cycle of Surya Kriya. I It was lovely and followed by a quick Shavasana cos I m not tired. Breathing in arashidharna postures was lovely too. Shakti was great and I even see violet flame in Kapala Bhakti. I didn't rest and yet legs no longer as cramped. Shambavi was good too. Lovely silence in the end, sitting in arashidharna posture.

Now updating abridged book, Sri Aurobindo
You must know the whole before you can know the part and the highest before you can truly understand the lowest. We are NOT meant to keep looking back, but to look ahead and above in the superconscious light, because there is our future, only the future can explain and heal the past.
Instead of looking at these sharp turns as a sort of fatality, the seeker will make them the basis of his work. This twofold movement of ascent and descent is the fundamental process of integral yoga.
On each height we conquer, we have to turn to bring down its power and its illumination into lower mortal movement. Such is the price of transforming life, otherwise, we go on poeticising and spiritualising on the peaks, while underneath the old life keeps bumping along.
In practice, the downward movement is not effected by the arbitrary decision of the mind - the less the mind interferes, the better.

Soul
Yea, my break up with  Z was part of the whole process.
Suddenly realised that perhaps this is also the message of the Osho card

Issue - Sorrow
This pain is not to make you sad, remember. That's where people go on missing.... This pain is just to make you more alert--because people become alert only when the arrow goes deep into their heart and wounds them.
