Life is an utility or not....up to you

Father, I did my practice. Woke up at 5.20 am. I slept nearly 12 am yesterday. There were some moments of reluctance but I just did it. I still couldn't do guru pooja as voice is still not good. Did breathing. Shakti was done with awareness, even the final breathing counts too. The Shambavi was good too. And I tot I was in awareness and when I finally come out it was 7.21 am. It is half an hour longer than my recent ones.

I feel I am back. After the practice, the heatiness from sleep is gone. I saw the beauty of trees. Saw some trees that was cut down but still growing. Tot of me and Z. He cut me down but I am still flowing. I still love him but I no longer want to give. Need to train him to reciprocate. Perhaps he is not into me. But that's fine cos my love doesn't change. I love him not because he love me. But to spend more energy on him, no longer necessary.

Lao Tze has a deep interest in all that is useless. He says to be useless is to be protected. To be useful is dangerous because if u r useful, then somebody is going to use u, u will be exploited. If u r strong, then u will be forced into the army.

Life can be looked at in two ways. U can look at it as utilitarian: one thing has to be used for something else - then life becomes a means and some end has to be fulfilled.
Or life can be taken as enjoyment, not as utility, then this moment is all, there is no goal, no purpose.

Enjoying here and now, celebrating. Only then u can be soft. If u r trying to be of use, u will become hard. If u r trying to fight, u will become hard. Surrender. Be soft and tender. Allow the flow of life to take u wherever it takes u. Let the goal of the whole be ur goal. Don't seek any private goal. Just be a part and an infinite beauty and grace happens.

Life should not mean; life should be. Suddenly u r soft. All hardness goes, disappears, melts. The baby is rediscovered, u have again become a child, those transparent eyes of childhood are available again. U can look, and then greenery is totally different.
Then the whole has a totally different significance. It has no meaning, it has significance. Meaning is concerned with utility; significance, with delight. Delight in it and u will be soft. Flow with the river. Become the river.
